    • The Academic Personnel Manual (APM) is the foundational authority for all academic appointments at the University of California. It establishes the minimum standards for recruitment, appointment, and advancement to ensure consistency across all ten campuses.
    • Collective Bargaining Agreements are the contracts between the University of California and the unions representing various employee groups.
    • UC Whistleblower Policies provide a mechanism for reporting suspected improper governmental activities and protection against retaliation if needed.
